Comment ~ Critique – Very ethereal, some of the harmonies seem a bit out, but perhaps they’re meant to
be like that. Good arrangement.

Comment ~ Comments - lyric creates mood but goes nowhere - good country folk rhythm - nice guitar -
vocal up front - hook weak and not differentiated from verse- bridge too long (although it
shows musical skill)

Comment ~ Judge (JimmyZ) Comments: Good lyrics. You have a nice voice so - I would like to hear your
voice alone in the first verse, no BGV’s, just add them on the second half of the other verses.
Sounded more folk/bluegrass than the pop category to me.

Comment ~ The title, say the pros, is a key element, and this title, though familiar, is elegant. Vocals are
clean and beautiful. A hint of delta blues embedded here (that's a good thang). Mesmerizing
lyrics and melody, though probably not mainstream enough for top 40. Solid song, and a good
tune for that road trip you've been dreaming about.

Comment ~ Love your harmonies that you’ve crafted! That makes your song something definitely a little
different, original. Lovely mellow feel overall, but perhaps to impress as a pop song it needs to
deviate a little more from its current level-headed (albeit pleasant) meandering and reach more
of a high (and/or low!) or two along its journey. It’s all a bit too even-keeled (no theme pun
intended!) I think is what I’m trying to say.

Comment ~ Critique: Very ethereal. Her vocal is almost something like Robert Plant would do; that cool
droning thing. However in the drone, the song lacks a certain dynamic. This could be rectified
by interaction with a live percussionist, and at least at one point it needs to break into
something new; Check out "Mississippi Moon" for the variance in this type of thing; I think both
songs have the same kind of feel/instumentation. I did however, enjoy the listen very much,
and think you're a very talented singer/player so keep up the good work!

Comment ~ Anything acoustic wins me over automatically. The melody and lyrics are great.
But there were times where the backing vocals clashed with it each other and that was a bit
unsettling to my ears. Not that they were sharp of flat, they just don't fit together for some
reason - I can't explain. Also, I’m not sure if you are using an effect or double tracking on the
voice, but either way, I think it would sound better plain and simple – you shouldn’t put
ketchup on a perfectly good stake. Keep in mind this is only a personal preference of mine so
take for whatever it’s worth.
