great lyrics, best yet, the music sounded like heated up blues at closing time, overall pretty good song, although left feeling that it maybe didnt quite carry the strength of the lyrics

Critique: Loved it! Frank Zappa meets the Stray Cats! A wonderful diversion.

This is a great cruisin' song. I dreamed myself driving down a lost hwy in California following the oceans shoreline...Your vocals reminded me of Leonard Cohen. You have great story telling skills. Now this really isn't my style of music, but I liked it. Thanks for broadening my view and tastes.

comments: Intro was a little too long. Good use of story telling/imagery. I can't get past the accent for some reason…keeps me from focusing. Guitar needs a little tuning. On a side note… I totally can hear you writing songs like Weird Al. Your accent with funny songs together would be a hit! Anyways…cool song

Critique: This wasn’t my type of music but could
see that a blues person would like it. I wouldn’t
be the best judge for this song.

Great setup going into this one – captivated me straight away; the feel, the instrumentation. Even despite the cheesy band-in-a-box drums . Particularly love your voice and the way first couple of verses sound. But it gets stuck; I’m waiting for it to go somewhere but it’s all just more of the same. There isn’t any apparent chorus, is my feeling; just more and more verses. Great soloing instrumental work, would be better suited if you took it away from the end and put some of it in the middle to break up the verses.

Have listened to this tune a few times before, and like it very much. Very original, intelligently thought out lyrics with jazzy instrumentation. Ian Anderson-esque vocal.

clever idea...music comedic...lyrics confusing without explanation..

Good, interresting song, reminds me a little to the Doors or to Tom Waits.
Mabe I like the lyrics the best within this contest so far!
Seems to me like it was recorded in an live session? Well done, it caused me to bang my head :-)
I like it!!!

I can see this is a song people would enjoy, although, personally it
didn't do it for me. I don't know why, it's well produced with good lyrics and a decent hook. I'm annoyed it doesn't

Critique: Interesting. Cool, bluesy groove. Nice vocals, playing. Intro. and ending a little long.

Wow- deep voice! I like it. What an interesting voice and sound. Perhaps this is my favorite song in the contest style-wise. IT's the one I will remember for a long time, and ponder over. You should break the long lyrics apart with the second guitar solo, though, to add a breath of air. Don't save for the end of the song.
