– likeable danceable slice of slightly retro pop, probably fit in fine at a kinda 80s theme night, but not really my thing |

Great song! I can see radio play in store for this one. Can't think of anything to criticize. |

I like the title because it has the word "hold" in it. Jackson Browne's music is all about holding the heart. "Don't need poetry..or prose..follow when the heart says so" good line. I have a song |

comments: Sounds straight out of the 80's. Lyrics are a little too simple for me. The verses don't have to be the same melody each time. Keep that framework, but vary them slightly each verse. Your choruses need to be bigger than your verses. Right now they are on the same level musically. The only way we know it's the chorus is because you are singing the title |

Critique: This song has a memorable tune. Good soft hooks throughout the song. The background vocals added a nice touch. The words Hold Me may have been too repetitive. |

Yes – good, clear, upfront vocals that I can make out and latch onto! My main criticism would be that there’s not enough of a distinction between the verse and chorus. They’re too similar; the chorus doesn’t offer a lift or a high over and above the verse. In fact there’s something slightly odd (musically I mean) about the "show me that you’re willing to try" phrase that is off-putting and stops the chorus from reaching its potential. But overall this song has a nice mellow feel that is pleasing to listen to. Wouldn’t take much rework to make it really special. |

Good voice; Tom Petty like sound/arrangement (which I think is cool). Enjoyable, but the vocal doesn’t flow well in a couple of parts. Cool 70’s vibe overall, love the guitar work. Could see Stevie Nicks singing these lyrics. |

This one is OK. The voice is fine – sounds like one of the King Crimson singers, John Wetton, the one who sang "Starless". Very similar! I like the consistency of the style in a song. "Show me that you're willing to try" kind of lyrics make the song superficial… It all ends with "Let’s spend the night together" for me. More instrumentation, short solos won’t hurt. |

Maybe the best production I've heard so far. Everything sound perfect. Although the lyrics did't |

This is a good song, but angain one I wouldn't go and buy myself. One of the most professional of the songs I've heard so far (4 four to go!). When I hear this song I think 'shades of Tom Petty'. Good singing, with an easy laid backmood you drift along with, rather than something that grabs you by the throatand demands attention. Everything done in the right place at the right time, this indicates it might follow a path that is too tried and tested. |

Critique: Nice guitars on intro. Catchy beat. Could hear Madonna singing this one. Nice vocals/backing vocals. |

Sexy voice. Tight harmonies. The song overall is very good. Good productions, good vocals, good lyrics. If there's anything wrong though, it's just that it has a bit of an 80's rock sound to it. But that's all. Good work |
