Lyrics left me wanting...no substance. Organ sounds like a child's toy, need a different tone. Singing was nice. |

I really had a hard time getting my computer to play your song. It just took forever to receive. Well, I finally got it to play once. You have a unique sound here in this song. The vocals and intruments sounded good... I liked the title as well. |

Critique: I am not sure how to judge this song because I couldn’t figure out what style it was. Had a good conceptual idea for the lyrics. |

The elements don’t manage come together in this song; mainly because the percussion sounds like your computer has loaded the wrong soundfont or something. Or like it belongs to a different song. Doesn’t go with the guitar part; mainly because the drums are strangely in between swung and straight, but the guitar is straight. I like your voice, it’s different! And it really suits the Parisian Café feel you’ve almost created. Could all come together better for this song if you changed the drums to a jazzy, brushed style that’s definitely swung, introduce more of a walking bass in places, and swing the guitar and other ‘instruments’. Lots of potential I think! |

Liked the background arrangement very much. Opening guitar solo is kind of out of place. Good, moody feel, however the vocal/lyrics didn’t reach me. |

Perhaps the most stylish and tasteful one of them all, something I’ve been looking for on this contest! This is European stuff, sounds a lot like French chanson. The melody is great. The accent adds some surprising effect… I’m not even sure if it hurts the song in any way. Dig this kind of music by all means. The lyrics are a bit vulgar and weird, though they do create an atmosphere… The most interesting one so far in terms of elegancy and originality, very intriguing. Not Tom Waits yet (who is?), but something is developing there |

Santana meets Eastern Europe...interesting combination...lyrics in English don't translate well. |

Interesting percussion arrangement, however, I don't think this complements the lyric of the song. On the whole this song seems an uneasy blend of genres and influences that don't mix. I could hear world music, folk, french cafe and pop to name a few. The singing could do with some work as well. On the positive side, I'd say the individual elements of the song are good they just need texturing differently or putting in seperate songs. |

How'd you get Santana to play?!! lol Okay. I have to be honest. THe vocals are in dire need of help. There's a lot of emotion but the voice is just not in tune. THe throat needs to be opened up- and more care given to listening to tune, tone and warmth. Good work- keep at it! |
