Super cool tunage man...real singer/songwriter stuff...
excellent lyric and performance....
Harmony vox is subtle...but, that's the way it should be...
You obviously know what you are doing...
Let me know if you want a bass line...I would be glad to do it....very cool indeed... |

The arrangement is very good but,the medley of melodys seems too familiar to me to be original. I am a long time fan of Greek literature and have read and re-read the classics over the years.... This is a great presentation for the right audience but, it is not what I would call commercial or for "the masses" at all. I give you credit for your unique presentational "twist" on a classic... You have a great voice and the harmony vox seemed cool for the melodys. Production wise I would push the music more than the vox on the mix...your choice of sounds is very good...people should be able to hear them a bit better. |

Excellent catchy upbeat song man......
Good lyric...
Fantastic performance...
This is totally commercial music...
Production quality and performance are stellar.
I particularly like the acoustic guitar tone you achieve...
The harmony vox seems good to me...not strained...perhaps just a bit too loud at the end on the fade....
On my third listen.....
Yup...I like it man...
Write on :-) |

This is a marvelous musical piece...the melody is superb...
I hear a full orchestra with this piece...lots of strings....beautiful.
This would be awesome as a Film soundtrack with a full arrangement....
The hook is great but the rest of the lyric sort of left me wishing for more...perhaps it's the vocal performance...
The harmony vox does not compliment the lead vox
Good luck with your music man...it is very good. |

The beat is great...
The recording quality of the instruments is excellent.
The music is extremely repetative...small smatterings of melody here and there...mostly beat and simple bass thoughout......
The vocal performance is not really singing...it's more like rap...techno rap or B-52s kind of thing....
The male and female vox do not compliment one another...
Not to my personal liking actually...the vox effects are over done as well..
lyric is pretty cool though....good writing there... |

Alex.... I feel bad leaving this rating because you liked our song... Not that I don't like the music man...it's just that it is all verse...repetative and screaming for a change up to a chorus... The lead guitar tone and melodies however are excellent... Great production there for sure..... I cannot comment on the lyric however because I can make it out... The vox is so low...don't be shy man...I even hear some decent tonal harmony vox here...I just can't make out the words... Work on this some more man...it's worth it. Take good care, Joe Rogier |

Vox is very good...good harmony
Mix is extremely low however....
percussive snaps with verb outweigh your vox...
The song itself is very cool lyrically...however musiclly...even with your different alliterations vocally...it is the same music for verse and chorus... |

I am glad you picked this one Don....
I have heard it before and I think this is an awesome tune....in all aspects...
There is still something wrong with your file man...but it only skipped a little..
Great guitar...
Great everything actually..
Vox harmonies are dead on...good stuff man,

There is no distinction inbetween verse and chorus.
Perhaps an intense tempo change would help define the different parts.
The piano is quite decent and well played.
The synth would be better more as a pad... (further back in the mix...)
The vocal effect is overpowering and makes the lyric hard to understand.
There are a few cliches in the lyric.
Not that cliche's don't have their place and moments to shine. |

I enjoyed your music tremendously...
very cool tunage however, one aspect of songwriting that I try to stick to is to never use words that are not common to an everyday conversation. Piety would be one of these words...on the other hand....your chorus is outstanding...
but the hook isn't there...or perhaps I am confusing verse with chorus...
The following quote is great writing...really good stuff man...
"People seem to keep walking in and out of my life
I'm still not strong enough to be able to put up a fight
If you still want freedom....I'll survive.."
Sorry if I got it wrong...
I had a very hard time understanding the lyric...there is way too much verb on your vox. |

This is a really good song.
I hear a full production with a horn section ...very cool..
This reminds me so much of Chicago.....
Great bass line.....
I think I would like to hear more harmony vox throughout...
actually...the pitch of the harmony vox seems to better suit the song...that is....I would reverse the main vox and harmony vox's roles...sing in the higher register for the harmony...and the lower register for the lead vox...
Again, very good song...kudos |
