Troubles
by Alicia Keys
Wow....all voice! I have wanted to try this type of music for quite some time...a hard thing to pull off, and you did it wonderfully! I am inspired! You have a very unique voice, and it would be a pleasure to work with you someday.

In My Room
by Brian Wilson
As far as I am concerned, Brian Wilson is a "must learn" for any song writer. "Pet Sounds" shall remain one of the greatest albums ever made. I love your rendition of this song. I felt a shiver up my legs when I heard it (and it wasn't just the cold ND winter causing it! Ha!) Thanks for the ear candy.....and like a child....I want more!

Lullaby
by Tom Waits
When I think of Tom Waits, I see a man in a corner bar on a dim lit street, with a bottle of scotch and a cup of gravel to keep his voice right....and a scratch pad to write on. He is a gifted writer....never really in the public eye, but enuf so that he can inspire those of us who really hear what he is all about. Everything you did with this song was totally true to him (except the cup of gravel)...and probably true to yourself as well. The music was lovely...and the vocals were second to none. Great job!

I Can't Get Next to You
By The Temptations
I wrote a song in 1988 called "I can't Get Next To You"...and took a different route then the Temptations. But I did think about them when I recorded it. So, this song has a little history with me. Everthing about this song was done great! The vocals are out there where you can hear them, and done very well! You must have had the "feeling" when you recorded them! The band sound was great as well! I bet it was fun to do! Great job!

Deramer
by The Beatles
I remember first hearing Ozzy on Beaker Street...hosted by Clyde Clifford....on a radio station out of Little Rock Ar. I am very familiar with most all of his stuff. You did right by him as far as I am concerned. Everything about the recording is top notch. You did a great vocal track! I would love to hear some of your new stuff as well....bet it kicks royal A**!
06-Solpig
Buona Sera
by Louis Prima
Solpig, I am not familiar with Louis, but the song was well written! I found your performance of the song to be quite entertaining! Your voice fit well with the overall feeling and the guitar playing was wonderful! Great job! I hope to hear more from you in the future!

Wonderwall
by Oasis
Well done! I will have to say that your mix puts my song to shame! Ha! I could tell that you spent some time on this. Everything shines clear. Great playing, great sound...great voice! Well done says it all!
08-Tim W
Nowhere man
by The Beatles
Tim Tim TIM!!! Ha, sounds like you were "having fun" with this one! I love it when that happens....and acoustic as well.....I call that walking the tightwire without a net. Beyond the fun, I could hear well done harmonies, and great playing! I have and always will love the Beatles and this was a good choice for song submissions. My best to date is "In My Life"...but that's another story. This sounds like a "live" presentation....as most of my recordings tend to be....it's easy to capture the moment that way. Loved it!

Happier Than the Morning Sun
by Stevie Wonder
Nigel, I am quite familiar with most of Stevie Wonders tunz. I have an older blind brother who taught me what music was...so I relate to people like Stevie. I closed my eyes when I listened to this one...as my brother taught me to do. I was taken away. A wonderful job. Thanks for letting me "see" again what he taught me.
10-EED (Emily)
Every Rose Has Its Thorn
by Poison
Emily, up here in ND, it seems like Accordians are big business! I love how it fits into your Poison song! Turning a Poison song into a folk song is a hard thing to do....and you did it well! It was wonderful hearing your voice.....you have a passion for singing....and I hope it takes you places! Good job!
11-David T
Day Tripper
by John Lennon & Paul McCartney
Hey David! I have been a fan of the Beatles since their 1st album...it turned my youth around ...so to speak, and you did a great job on this one! It sounds like you have recording down to a tee! I have played this song in numerous bands, and it never wears out in me. Great job!
12-Dave C
Autumn Leaves
by Joseph Kosma & Jacques Prévert
Dave, in listening to this song, I am taken back many years. I listen to your chord arrangements, and know that if I ever attempted to play this song, it would take me a long time to work it out. Thanks for bringing back some strong memories, and for doing such touching guitar work
14-Todd
Joker
by Steve Miller
Todd, the intro is quite a departure from Steves version....but fits quite well! It's nice that you added your own touch to it! The harmonies were right on, and the playing is excellent! Great production work as well...loved the guitar solo! I may be a little biased on this one tho...I think Steve Miller is one of the all time greats....and I hope to see him in 2004!

Just A Little
by The Beau Brummels
Ok, so I enter a review of my own tune. I have always loved the Beau Brummels, and was torn between doing "Laugh Laugh", and this one. I threw some friends together, and we did this one. It was recorded live onto a standard Sony cassette deck with the mix coming off the board. My only other comment....I wanted to change it only in the respect of...a more powerful recording. I thought the original lacked the edge....it deserved a "slam bang" so I did my best to give it that. Thanks for all the great comments!
15-Meikow
You Won't See Me
by The Beatles
Meikow...great choice! One can never go wrong choosing a Beatles song! Your guitar harmonies reminded me somewhat of the Allman Bros band...right on and tasteful! Your band sound was tight and kicking! Great job!

Dreams of Fast Cars
by an amalgam of Tracy Chapman & Gabrielle
I didn't grow up in the last 20 years.....but am more a product of the 60's and 70's. However, I have kept up with the music scene, I never know when I will have to sit in with a band and play Creed, or Fountains of Wayne, or Men At Work, or Tracy Chapman, so I learn them all as best I can. You did a great job on this. I love the way it melts together. Great guitar work and vocals. You kept true to the original while adding "you".
