Iggy Sol Pig- "Buona Sera " First, what an attitude! (In a good way), From your intro to the song's end you were able to convey a "feeling" of confidence with a bit of cockiness thrown in for good measure.

This is one of those songs were it's hard to make any constructive remarks. Guitar playing was good, performance was good. Vocals, at times, seemed to be a bit strained, but nothing to take away from an overall very good performance.

Bit short, though, next time work a little more!

Christina This is so very nice, Solpig! It's such a romantic serenade, I almost imagine you performing this on bended knee in front of your beloved signorina. A pity that it's so short. No matter, you've done it justice and then some. Bravissimo! I guess you are keeping the rest of it for the encore?
Kneena You bring a tenderness to this song through your voice.I wish you would have continued the repeat of the verse and chorus so I could have heard more. Beautiful song! I enjoyed the moment.
Nigel Nice, short, sweet, to the point. I like your raspy, smoky voice. (I gotta smoke some more!)

Simple guitar accompaniment works well for this song. Overall it's a very pure recording. Sounds like you just set up a mic and pressed record. No frills...I dig it.

EED (Emily) I loved this. I've said before that I'm a total sucker for guitar and vocals alone. The guitar work was beautiful. I really like the quality of your voice--that gruffness really works on this song. And it's such a sweet, simple song. I'm impressed and happy to hear a new song that I really like. It's fun to hear your work after reading what you have to say in the forum!
Kris S Solpig:

I love your voice. So gruff... I only wish the song had been longer because simply..I wanted to hear more. That's not a cut, rather a pat on the back my friend. I like your style and would like to hear some of your own stuff. I bet it has a lot of soul and blues mixed in it. Time to search the web with keyword..."solpig"

David T Nice guitar playing. Vocals hit a clunker in the first verse, but had good emotion throughout the song. However, I don't think I'd quit my job and join Star Search. No biggie, vox and my main weak point also. Good offering!
Tim W Pig man
If I can't have Melina's voice, I want yours. When I hear it, I see Clint Eastwood. Just the right amount of tonal control and rasp. Very nice. You did a song that I'm not familiar with, but no matter; you made it your own. I enjoyed it very much.
Nancy G Solpig..your voice is awesome and very unique. This is a great little ballad you have chosen. It is a very personal lullaby and every note on the guitar is pleasing to me. You told a little love story and it was short and sweet and moody. Excellent delivery of this song...
"Kiss me goodnight!":-)
Your vocals totally rule. Thanks for sharing the sounds of your heart.
Todd Great! Solpig lays down a bare bones acoustic tune, and sometimes that just takes some brass cajones. You got 'em dude, and you pulled the tune off very well. You must perform a lot, huh?
James short, sweet and killer. I'm very impressed. You got it right!
Meikow You put the soul in Pig!!! Good strong vocals with an attitude, woulda liked to hear more tho...
Dave C not familiar with Louis Prima and I did not listen to the original yet (I will). I think you have a soulful voice and I liked the piece very much.
Hoaby Solpig, I am not familiar with Louis, but the song was well written! I found your performance of the song to be quite entertaining! Your voice fit well with the overall feeling and the guitar playing was wonderful! Great job! I hope to hear more from you in the future!
Hazelglow Hey, where's the rest of it? I was just getting into it... I quite liked what I heard, but I can't really comment on this as a cover when you haven't shared with us what you would do with the rest of the song.
Markus Thanks for reminding me of Italy with that beautiful song! I love your voice. In two weeks I will be in Triest (northern Italy) for two days. And I think when I will go to the sea after work, I will have "your" song in mind.
