Did I hear right? Were those the Schmenge Brothers Live? What a hoot that intro, Tim! And what a good renditon of a great song too! Now, mind you, I couldn't tell if you sang the real lyrics right through or made a spoof on them. No matter, it sounded good from where I was sitting in the audience, still laughing after the introduction. Yes, the Mo' Betta Band's reunion was worth it.

I did a little web search on the "Schmenge" name (also on "Schmangy") and it's amazing what it turned out! I'll leave you all to figure it out! (LOL) Enough to say the Schmenge Brothers are listed on the same web page as the Beatles at www.tvacres.com/music_groups.htm! Might we add the Mo' Betta Band to this list? :-)

Nigel What a fun recording! It made me want to be in the room with you. You can tell you guys have a lot of fun together.

Nice choice of song. I enjoyed the vocal harmonies. A very uplifting performance. You can't listen without having fun.

Way to go.

Solpig I Liked the first minute, and the last minute and all the ones in between.anybody playing the beatles always get's extra points.Anybody having fun, singing and playing the beatles, gets triple points.
You and your friends brought me in the room with you.I wish I was there to see it,and that is the Oh so overlooked part of performance and recording.I laughed with you,AND you sound loose and good.
My Favorite cover so far.
you go mo betta(tim W.)
mr. pig
Kneena I certainly agree with everyone else, this brought a smile to my face just hearing the laughter and the enjoyment you guys had in performing this song. Thanks for the smile!!!
EED (Emily) And a good time was had by all.

The harmonies and backup lalalala's were great. They should have let you sing lead more often. This was easy on the ears and fun. There's something about a recording of people laughing, no matter who or why that is ALWAYS funny.

David T Liked it! I would have liked to have heard some fancier guitar strumming, but the vocals more than made up for it. What great harmonies! Individually and collectively, the voices were excellent. Very Enjoyable!

As far as the "intro", all I can say is, I remember my first beer too! :-)

Iggy Tim: "Nowhere Man": Giving you 50 points for doing a Beatle's song and another 25 points for being so damn funny. Reminded me of something you would hear on the lost Beatle's tapes. I'm taking away 10 points, however, cause I'm not sure if you're the vocalist, guitar player or what.

Overall I thought the rendition was very good and an excellent choice. The harmonies were right on as was the guitar playing, especially in the break. I really couldn't find any negatives to comment on. I would have loved to have been part of the Schmangy Brother's when they performed this song. I could be Betsy Schmangy!

Nancy G I love the start of your song. You all seem so happy. You have a natural high, don't you? Well to listen to any Beatle song is a blessing. I love No Where Man..cuz I am a
No Where Girl sitting in my no where world..making all my no where plans for nobody. :-)

The vocals and harmonies are super. You hit the target. The guitar is so much like the one from the original Beatle song. I love a great guitar presentation. You all have a great delivery as well.. Totally loved it.

Thanks for picking me up today with your song. I have always loved your songs you have introduced to us at the forum. Thanks for sharing the sounds of your heart.

*Tim..your review on my song made me cry. Yes "My Room" is a porthole to a peaceful place as I travel down my road with my songs and my guitar. My secret passions are visible through the window of my world "In My Room"

Blessings to you!

Kris S Tim:
I wish your recording had been just a bit cleaner because you guys sounded great on those harmonies, though a bit muffled. Guitar sounded exact to the real deal. I especially liked the lead. Making acoustic leads clean, at least for me, is always a chore. Like everyone else has commented on...you guys had fun. That's what music is all about!
Todd Amazing. Beginning dialogue is funny... despite what y'all insisted, there must have been some glue sniffin' or something going on there. When the music started up, I was blown away. Very, very good vocal harmony. Only a couple of things detracted from the overall the performance: Way too much reverb, and in parts too many "lah-lahs". But it really sounds like you guys were having fun! Great job.

James Ok, I'm going to Florida next week to see my two best friends that also play guitar and bass. We're gonna party and play this one! Nuff said! Only real difference is if it was recorded I'm sure we'll have some farts and burps recorded. I want to hang with you guys!
Markus Your recording shows what it means to "play" music! To play is always fun and you guys have a lot of it. I love your very good live performance! I even love the little mistakes and laughters during the song, which do not disturb! They just make it alive! Sometimes the clean and all to perfect recordings of modern music industry do not deliver such a feeling. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Meikow Tim, what can I say? This song is what music is all about, getting together with your friends, having fun, and playing. I love this song and you guys did it great justice. Great harmonies and la las too!
Hoaby Tim Tim TIM!!! Ha, sounds like you were "having fun" with this one! I love it when that happens....and acoustic as well.....I call that walking the tightwire without a net. Beyond the fun, I could hear well done harmonies, and great playing! I have and always will love the Beatles and this was a good choice for song submissions. My best to date is "In My Life"...but that's another story. This sounds like a "live" presentation....as most of my recordings tend to be....it's easy to capture the moment that way. Loved it!

Dave C This is one of my all -time favorite Lennon tunes and I think you did it justice. The vocals are very nice. I considered doing Norwegian Wood but I am still hesitant about posting my vocal and here is some more that you probably dont want to know about me My wedding song was Love (off of John Lennon Plastic Ono Band) and my 2 cockatiels are named Strawberry Fields and Sugar Magnolia. Well, thats more info than I should be posting on the internet.
Hazelglow I'm really glad you guys had a good time; but I think I needed some of what you guys were on; 'cos I totally didn't get it. Maybe it's because it's a sober Sunday morning here and I'm sitting in my PJ's having brekky with the bright sunlight streaming in through the window, instead of being in the club late at night with you guys and riding the same vibe as I nurse my umpteenth drink! The whole, erm, 'comedy act' was lost on me, and from reading other reviews it seems I'm the only one who doesn't know what the "Schmenge Brothers" are, so obviously it's my shortcoming! Nor did I find the inclusion of the word 'shitting' to be as extremely hilarious as y'all apparently did! [Yes, I know, I'm being a party pooper]. Nice harmonies, I'll give you that.
