Christina What a very pleasant surprise! A latin-sounding intro! Lovely! Rich, melodious sound! Wonderful rendition, Meikow! It's the same song and yet not! I think I actually like your version better.:-)
Nigel Meikow, kudos for rearranging a Beatles song. I really like the intro - is that a sitar? Nice variation from the original in the feel of the song and faster tempo. I wasn't really digging some of the changes you made to the chord structure (for example I really miss the major II chord from the original....) Also, your guitar tones are a little too processed for my taste, but we're obviously in subjective territory. But way to go for taking something familiar and making it your own. An enjoyable listen!
Todd Very good production. I would have kept to the original harmonies in the "you won't see me line" but I very much like the way you modernized the piece. A very enjoyable listen!
Iggy Another one of those covers that surprises ya. Funny, today I pulled the chords off of OLGA for this song cause I thought Id give it a try. Youre weirding me out man!

Nice change from the original, which is always a challenge to sing. You handled it quite nicely, my friend. I felt, at times, you were a bit fast on the You Wont See Me part, but it was probably due to the fact that I know the cover so well. I started to sing along with ya toward the end and then was waiting for Think for Yourself to come up next, then The Word.right?

God I love The Beatles. Nice choice.

James Ok,I hate you...you piss me off...your production and guitar playing are super! I want you playing guitar on my tracks. Great rendition! You suck! laff!!!!
Kneena You featured excellent guitar playing! Your back-up vocals were great and added a fullness to this song. I enjoyed all your changes and all that remained the same. Very Nice!
Nancy G This is a great choice! You put some good energy into this song. I love the vocals. The guitar is perfect. This song takes me back, way back to the 60's when life was so easy when I was young. This is an excellent piece of work.
Thanks for sharing!
David T Fantastic song! Very well produced, excellent playing and singing. My only suggestion would be to back off a tad on the distorted guitar's distortion...it seems to break up TOO much. But that's only a minor point. A great offering showing much talent, and very enjoyable to listen to. Two thumbs up!
Kris S I really liked the guitar riff's, with that dreamy effect to make it sound straight out of India. The name of the instrument I'm thinking of eludes me right now. The mix was very good. The only thing that hit me on the negative side was it seemed as though your voice strayed out of key once or twice, but hey, we all threw these things together in a few days.

Emily (EED) The production on this is fantastic. I liked the intro, but didn't go for the vocals over it at the end--it's too cool to cover up! What instrument is that? A guitar with effects? Synth? Sitar or somthing? I can not put my finger on it. Nice arrangement--maybe a tad to fast. But you've got a nice voice and all the instruments were done very well. Nice work.
Solpig Hey!!! you were supposed to suck! You're older than me,so your voice should be BBQ'd,You're a Dodger fan, which means you're a hopeless romantic.I expected a pitchy version of some Lounge song.
You have a good clear voice, and this is one of the hardest beatles songs to cover.Picking the beatles is 10 points.Executing even a respectable version, another ten.Guitar work 10 for execution,9 for tone(sounds a little too thick...try a crappier sounding guit next time) Being a Dodger fan..... minus 2 for delusions of grandeur.
Over all though,I'd say you rule
!Viva los locos que gustan azul!
You go baby piggy

Hoaby Meikow...great choice! One can never go wrong choosing a Beatles song! Your guitar harmonies reminded me somewhat of the Allman Bros band...right on and tasteful! Your band sound was tight and kicking! Great job!
Dave C You have a great voice and I liked the tones of the instruments that you used: distortion and synth / sitar. Very nice performance. I had mixed emotions about the tempo probably about 120 for the original versus roughly 160 for the interpretation. I hear a raunchier version wanting to happen at that speed (I suspect that's just me).
Hazelglow This has *really* good energy; I especially like the guitar work; has lots of live presence and colour. Its very complete; youve thought of everything. The best thing about this song is it has lots of variation to hold interest level. The bridge sounds *so* Beatles-esque but is that a good thing or a bad thing for a cover I dunno! This is my favourite out of just about all the songs here for holding my attention.
Tim W Meikow
Very cool intro. Great keyboard. I like the upbeat tempo of your interpretation. Very good vibe. Great job.
Markus Great work on the guitars and a really good arrangment! Although I was a little confused about your slightly changes to the Beatles' melody and chords. In the verse, I was missing the strong
major chord on the II, which would cause some melody notes to be raised by a half-step.
But one could say you made your very own version of this song. And of course it was a very good one!
HotGlass Well,
It's not to bad. I think you might want to stick to poker.
Just Kidding.....See you at the tabels.
