The song really does have a heartfelt feeling, right in line for this contest of course. It feels a lot like a lullaby...one I picture Ozzy putting out. I realize we all have our own preference when it comes to effects, but I personally would have liked a bit less of whatever effect was used on the vocals. Straight forward...simple..and pleasant to listen to. |

You are the Queen of simplicity. Grab a guitar and create a song. But one that sticks with the listener. For me your voice is very unique and that's a plus. |

This song drew me in from the start. It feels a lot like the STP and I love those guys. The song is so simple hey makes such a huge impression. Goes to show you don't have to throw in a hundreds differant tracks to make the perfect mix. I would love to hear more of your music. As others have already stated, I think this baby is ready for radio as is. |

I liked the music right away. The classical guitar was a perfect fit along with the sedate, kind of off beat drumming. The lyrics told a good love story, but I also feel the word "maybe" was indeed overused. I like it all but had some trouble with the chorus/last section. It just kind of appeared with the music changing, and then the song ended. Not that I should talk given my entry in this little contest. Nice song Marcus. |

Terrific guitar work, a true wall of sound going on throughout this whole song. Reminds me of the sound U2 worked so magically on the Joshua Tree Album. Good harmonies ..nice dreamlike mood. It's a song I'd definitely listen to over and over again. |

The song reminded me of something Harry Chapin would write. The production is very good and it's obvious you put a lot into the project. But I had a hard time following the lyrics. Is the guy cheating on his wife? Is he simply neglecting his woman? It's unclear, at least for me. |

Jens: Take this review with a grain of salt. I looked for your english version but could not find it, so I have no comment to make on the lyrics. As to the song, it reminded me a lot of a song you'd hear in an elevator. But of course that might be exactly what you were trying to do....and if so bravo. I had a hard time following the melody of the song because it seems to change quite often. Musically you are obviously a talented keyboard player and know how to use the tools in your studio. Keep on writing..and don't let my words slow you down. |

Nice song. The guitar is very good and I loved the harp. In fact I think you should have used it more in the intro. I got lost thought trying to fiqure out if there was a chorus to this song or just two differant bridges??? As for the lyrics...they worked. Told a story anyone could understand. Nice work |

I'm a sucker for any song, regardless of the singers gender, where all you hear is a voice and a piano. If I only knew how to play all those keys!!! I liked the song very much and could relate with the lyrics. Thank you for the music. |

First off I would speed the tempo up the next time around. I liked the drums very much...they were live and in this day of samples and loops...that's a rare thing for a one man band. Your lyrics seem a little forced at times, but I got the message right away. The guitar is better then the last time I heard one of your songs and that's a VERY GOOD THING. I think if you up the tempo....this song will find some new life. |
